When I walk, I look down a lot. The things that catch my eye are things that don't seem to belong in the setting. Like these broken sunglasses ... discarded on a bed of moss.
Sometimes even trash, tossed away as useless, can be beautiful.

This is a very creative capture! There are interesting reflections in those glasses. It is as if they were seeing … even without a person wearing them. :)
You are so right Clytie! I look down a lot when I walk too, but it's mostly because I tend to trip and fall on the least little thing :)
Great capture and excellent eye. Too bad the owner couldn't take the time to properly dispose of them. Oh well, at least you got a great post out of it.
Darryl and Ruth : )
A little mystery in your reflection today... I wonder if the owner just "vaporized" -- I have got to quit watching scary movies!
Love that carpet of green moss.

You have a great eye, Clytie! Most people would walk right by this but you saw the potential of a neat photo!
nice
This is a wonderful photo, Clytie! It fills my eyes. How strange someone dropped them there.
How often I have prayed for "Clytie's eyes!" You have the gift of finding things. What an amazing woman you are!
You inspire me to look down--when my head is usually in, er, the clouds.
LOL
Wow great one!
