The magazine had no cover, and was ragged and stained.
Still, something about it caught my eye, so I paid my 25 cents and came home with a treasure trove of old advertisements and a glimpse into the world of nearly a hundred years ago!
In total, I came home with tattered and coverless copies of this magazine from 1913, 1914, 1915 and 1917!!!
All for a dollar.
The first thing I scanned from the pages of my treasure was this "Stewarts Iron Fence" advertisement. Because ... It's time for "Fridays Fences"!

what an unusual find.
A nice blast from the past....wonder what the price for the featured fence went for back then???
I like reading old ads to see how chap things once were. Great find!
Now, that's a great entry on the fence theme. Really cool!
I love old magazines--this is just plain wonderful!
