I found this shadowy picture in an old photo album packed away ...
Grampa and Grandma G.
They must have been fascinated with this bird - there were several shots of it.
January, 1980 - Two years before they came into my life, they went on a trip - from their home in Oregon to Arizona - with many stops along the way.
They loved to travel. I miss them so much.

Lovely, just lovely. So summery, calm and the vintage look is great!
Such an amazing chair shadow for wonderful memories.
Great shot, Clytie.
Hugs,

The webbing on the chair is from an earlier era - we all grew up with these in the 1960s. The empty chairs are a reminder of who they were and how wonderfully they affected us in belief and action, Poignant these chairs are...
A piece of history...
SSS greetings from Casablanca!
Hey, I remember those vintage chairs! (or ones similar, that is.)
Well spotted! I love old snaps :)
A sweet old photo, and a very nice shadow :)

A beautiful post and a lovely vintage style shadow shot! I almost didn't notice the bird until you mentioned him being there :)
Yes it's fine to use that heart graffiti pic of mine for your Guest Heart Thursday. You're more than welcome!
Have yourself a great week ahead!
Looks like a road runner, I would've taken a picture too...funny!
The chair and bird look like ghosts while the shadow looks alive. Amazing!
Oh, we used to have lawnchairs like this. Bravo!
I loved going back through memory lane with you--I've heard so much about these wonderful people. This shadow shot is perfect!
