It might be for the same reason chinese restaurants used to always include the ubiquitous hamburger on its menu!

The beer does seem rather odd.
Maybe it is a double duty business....vino with some brews on the side. It does seem like an unusual combination.
I'm guessing this site is now an upscale business in San Martin, California (Santa Clara County--in the San Francisco Bay Area). This was taken before San Martin became uber-cool!
Nice. I've seen so much tacky tourist stuff driving around the West, sometimes I feel like I'm in a different decade.
I guess they offer wine and beer so that everyone will be happy. Nice sign! :)
