Found in a Book ...

I love books!
Reading a book ... a real paper-and-ink publication ... is like losing myself in another world.
Or visiting an old friend.

Sometimes I find treasures tucked between the pages ...

Notes, cards, bookmarks ...

I'm not sure I will ever be comfortable with reading books "electronically".
Because there's more to books than just reading them!

It's fun finding hidden treasures in books! I love the real books too... although in a pinch I'll read using my smart phone. It's always with me. :)

I love reading, too. I like the Kindle son gave me for Xmas, but prefer to hold a book in my hands.

I once bought an old copy of The Three Musketeers for a dollar at a local library book sale.

Six months later we were in a world of hurt--short $100 of what we needed. I decided to distract myself reading a book--yep, the Three Musketeers.

What did I find between is pages? You guessed it...a $100 bill. Just when we needed it.

You can't find stuff like that in the pages of an electronic book!

Besides I like to hold the book in my hands and turn the pages. Just an old fashioned girl, I think!
