I found this YMCA Christmas 1918 greeting in Grammie's stuff. Her husband, my Grampa Lester, was a veteran of WWI. He must have received this while overseas that year. I think it must have meant a lot to him. And to her. To me as well.

As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.
