I found a box of old negatives of pictures taken in Europe ... We were stationed in Germany from late 1986 until late 1989 ...
I have been converting the negatives to digital, and find that I sincerely wish I had labeled all of these negatives! I think this picture was taken on a trip to France, mostly because of the "sign" that reads "creche du soleil". If anyone recognizes where this was taken, please leave a comment - I would be overjoyed!
If you are wondering just HOW I am converting these negatives, check out my post HERE.
I've been having so much fun with this - and it's FREE (not to mention EASY)!

I believe it is the Hotel de Ville. I have never seen it with the fountains on. :)

Sounds like a BIG job to convert a lot of photos! Looks like it'll be worth it though.
Old photos are great for bringing back good memories!
I'll go look at your converting post -- every time we're in Oregon I think about doing this (our old albums are stored at our daughters there).
What a great thing to knot how to do. Thanks for the link. genie
c'est magnifique!
Halcyon is right, it's the Paris City Hall. I've also been converting negatives into digital and I think it's worthing. Many of them can already be seen on my travel blog.
I have been unable to post comments on your page for more than a week but it seems Blogger has finally solved the problem. It was about time!
This is so great, Sissy! Wow!
