Found in Black and White

I picked up several packets of negatives (not 35 mm - they were much larger!) at the thrift store the other day ...
I couldn't wait to digitize them!

On the first strip, I came across someone's memories of a trip to the beach.

And these beautiful girls.
With a hint as to the time frame of these photos ...
Their outfits are straight out of the 1970's, don't you think?

Whoever took these photos did well at catching something really special ...

Special enough to link up to "Vintage Weekly"!

Amazing find, and I also find it amazing that any person would want to give away their memories to a thrift store. Very strange, nice photos though.

So, you picked the negatives and you had no idea what you would find? That is cool! :-)

Now we wonder what happened to the photographer.... They are special shots. Would someone willingly part with those memories?

Clytie, you are very creative. I know. I have read your posts. :-) You can get the tool for making collages at photoscape. It also allows you to embed your photos.

This is an amazing find, Sissy. What lovely girls--so sad these photos were lost, but so great that you saved them! Amazing.

Also, I remember wearing a poncho like that one--Dad made it. Remember those? lol They were brown with golden fringe.
